Leah and Yitzhak Rabin
In Production

Leah Remembers Yitzhak
(52 minutes)

During her lifetime, Leah Rabin rarely spoke personally and intimately about her life with Yitzhak Rabin. Terra Films filmed more than 10 hours of interviews with Leah Rabin covering all of the personal as well as political aspects of her life with Yitzhak Rabin from their first meeting on Allenby Street at the Whitman Kiosk in 1945 until his assassination in 1995.

In this program we focus on the personal and private side of Leah and Yitzhak from their first meeting in Tel Aviv after which they were always together, to their years in the Palmach, their wedding in wartime Israel, sharing their life with the IDF, raising their children, the Six Day War and "Rabin's breakdown", their years in Washington, the illegal bank account and up until their last day together.

To our knowledge, know one holds such as extensive interview with Leah Rabin, filmed when she was in good health and soon to celebrate her 70th birthday. The film includes footage from Rabin's Super-8mm movies and family archive.
